The workflow
Storefronts, order administration, inventory, and point-of-sale applications need shared operational workflows.
The engineering challenge
Connect order and inventory workflows across web and desktop interfaces while accounting for branch context and connection state.
The implementation
The codebase combines order and POS modules with storefront applications and a desktop POS interface. An inventory service publishes branch-aware stock-change events through Redis. The desktop application includes connection-state and cache management. The admin and commerce APIs were engineered as a reusable, multi-brand platform: several branded storefronts run on the same backend, each managing its own catalogue, orders, and stock.
