SaaS Development

Build the product. Design for the tenants behind it.

IYC engineers SaaS platforms from architecture to production. We define the product workflows, tenant boundaries, access model, data architecture, and integration requirements so the platform can be operated and extended as the business grows.

The right fit

When to consider saas development.

For teams turning a repeatable business workflow into a software product, building a new SaaS platform, or addressing architectural constraints in an existing one. The first release is scoped around the workflows that need to be validated.

What the engagement covers

  1. 01

    Product and tenant model

A scoped release plan and architecture that define customer boundaries, user roles, shared services, and tenant-specific data.

  2. 02

    Core product workflows

The application, backend, and administrative workflows agreed for the release, with external integrations specified during discovery.

  3. 03

    Production operations

Deployment, tests, observability, and operational documentation within the agreed scope, with capacity and cost considered alongside product functionality.

Where we work

Straight answers

SaaS Development: your questions answered.

What is included in SaaS platform development?
The scope can include product architecture, frontend and backend development, tenant and access models, integrations, deployment, and operation. Discovery identifies which capabilities belong in the first release and which can follow.
How do you approach multi-tenant architecture?
We establish which data and resources must be isolated, how access is enforced, and what workload each tenant creates. Those requirements guide the data model, service boundaries, tests, and operational controls.
Can you improve a SaaS platform that is already live?
Yes. An architecture review identifies constraints in the existing system. Changes are planned in increments so the team can evaluate their effect before expanding the migration.
Does the project include source code?
Standard engagements include use of the custom software under the project agreement, but do not include source-code access or transfer of intellectual property. Source-code delivery and additional rights can be negotiated separately and priced in the project agreement. Access to source code does not by itself grant resale or redistribution rights.

Software usage rights, hosting, maintenance, data export, and arrangements at the end of the engagement are defined in the written project agreement.
